I love looking back at old work so I might do a little throwback every once in a while to highlight some of my old favourites. I thought this one would be appropriate since halloween is just around the corner. I did this painting of Mia Farrow in my moleskine back when watercolour was my life and I inked with a brush rather that my new fave; the brush pen. What I like about this is not only how I think I managed to get Rosemary’s likeness but also the colours I used, especially in the skin. Even though this obviously isn’t a show-stopping masterpiece, it’s always been one of those things that I look back at and think… did I do that?
But yeah… it’s a pretty haunting film isn’t it.
